Q.	Do I need to be a H.O.G. member to register for the rally?
A.	To attend the rally you will need to be a national H.O.G. member in good standing, an associate member in good standing or a guest of a H.O.G. member. Each H.O.G. member can bring one guest.
Q.	What does the rally cost?
A.	The rally pre-registration price is $30. You will receive a rally specific pin for your vest, a wrist-band that will give you a three day access to the U.S.S. Yorktown, the Medal of Honor Museum and all of the bike, trike and people games on the grounds of Patriots Point. It will also include an all access pass to the kick-start party at the host hotel, The Holiday Inn. And you will be able to attend the “Friday at Phil’s” party at Low Country Harley-Davidson.
Q.	Can I use my credit card to pay for everything?
A.	This year we have arranged to take credit cards on line along with a printed version to be mailed in with your check. H.O.G. uses VeriSign to validate the security of the registration process. You can use Visa or Mastercard to register for the rally. There are no added fees other than taxes that have been included in the purchase price.
Q.	How do I know if I am pre-registered?
A.	You will receive a confirmation card prior to the rally date. You will need to have the confirmation card with you when you arrive at the rally site. Processing your rally packet will quick and easy giving you more time to enjoy the rally. At the bottom of this web page is a release form that will also help the process. Just print and fill out the information and bring it with you to the rally.
Q.	I want to volunteer at the rally, can I do this?
A.	As a registered rally participant you may volunteer at the rally wherever there is a need. If you are not a registered rally attendant you will not be able to volunteer.
Q.	Will registration be open thru all three days of the rally?
A.	Yes. Registration opens at 10:00AM on Thursday, 8:00AM on Friday and Saturday and will close at 6:00PM on Thursday and Friday. Registration will be moved from the host hotel to Patriots Point at 12:00PM on Saturday and close at 4:00PM for last minute registrations.
Q.	Why do I just get a pin with registration? What about the t-shirt and patch?
A.	If you pre-register this year South Carolina is including several different rally specific items in the registration process. This will make it easier for you to pick and choose what you would prefer to take from this rally. We have included a rally special that if chosen will provide you with a rally specific pack and koozie absolutely FREE. We are including two different styles of shirts so that you may have a choice in this area also. If you do not pre-register and wait to register on site these items are limited in quantity and are given out on a first come bases for the purchase price.
Q.	If I don’t pre-register can I still come to the rally?
A.	Yes, you can still come to the rally. The registration price will still be the same. The only difference will be that you will receive a rally specific pin as long as they last. We do not order extra. You will still be able to have the wrist-band for all of the other activities.
Q.	Why do I need a wrist-band?
A.	This is what allows you full access to the rally specific activities. We will put it on you at registration and it must be worn at all times during the rally. This is an open rally but there are areas that will not be available to non-rally participants.
Q.	Why does it cost so much for children to attend the rally?
A.	The U.S.S. Yorktown is free of charge to children 6 years and younger. Children older, 6 to 11, are charged to board the ship the same as an adult. There will be no charge for children 6 to 11 to eat at the closing ceremonies due to the cost of their ticket.
Q.	You lost your registration card? Not a problem.
A.	As long as you have your National H.O.G. membership card and a photo I.D. we will be able to verify your pre-registration.
Q.	Ok, now I’ve pre-registered and I can’t come to the rally, can I get a refund?
A.	No, we are sorry but all pre-registered fees are non-refundable. Unclaimed rally packets will not be mailed. If you are unable to attend the rally send your registration card with a friend and they will be allowed to pick-up your rally packet for you.
Q.	Can I attend the ceremonies at the U.S.S. Yorktown if I don't chose to attend the dinner?
A.	Absolutely, your wrist-band allows you access to the activities on the ship. If you choose to eat the buffet there will be an added charge of $20 when you pre-register. You will be given a ticket for your meal. Seating will be for meal ticket holders first.
Q.	If I trailer my bike to the Rally, will there be parking for my vehicle and trailer?
A.	Your hotel will have ample room to accommodate your trailer.
Q.	Do I have to own a Harley-Davidson to come to the rally?
A.	No, but only Harley-Davidson and Buell motorcycles will be able to participate in the bike events, games, bike show and LED light show.
Q.	Is the host hotel close to the rally site?
A.	Yes. The host hotel is within half a mile of Patriots Point.
